Private Lessons Offered
Piano Lessons
Piano students are welcome from age six to 86! After assessment, students will have a personalized course of study in a focused and welcoming studio atmosphere.
Flute Lessons
Whether you are a beginning student, currently involved in a school band, or preparing for auditions - flute lessons will have you well prepared and add to your musical core and skill.
Voice Lessons
Singing is fun! Students as young as age seven can begin voice lessons. Here students not only prepare songs, but develop the voice through age appropriate exercises, learning to read music and develop the musical ear.
Theory Lessons
We now offer private instruction to teach just theory one on one. Students will work through topics such as ear training, melodic and rhythmic dictation, as well as key signatures and time signatures to name a few.
Rachel Bragdon
Piano, Voice, Theory
Mrs. Bragdon says - there is nothing like teaching students and being a part of their acquisition of skills and concepts to make meaningful, beautiful music!
Mrs. Bragdon has taught students of all ages for many, many years, primarily in her private home studio. Also she enjoyed working in public school settings as a skilled accompanist and private music tutor, and also teaching private voice and piano at Christ For The Nations Institute in Dallas, as well as the former ARCHE homeschool co-op in Rockwall.
She is a graduate of the University of North Texas, Denton with a Bachelor of Music Education degree, studying pIano, voice, and piano pedagogy.
Jamie Fillman
Flute, Theory
Jamie Fillman is an enthusiastic teacher who seeks to give students a solid foundation in technique and fluency. She seeks to develop students' own sense of joy and artistry.
Mrs. Fillman studied at Baylor University where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. She went on to complete a Master's degree in Flute Pedagogy at Texas Women's University.
Mrs. Fillman has taught flute, piano, voice and music theory to a wide variety of ages and skill levels. She has taught in private as well as group l lessons, and has taught in public school settings as an assistant band director in both Houston, TX and Radford, VA.
She also has extensive performance experience and has served as a clinician and adjudicator.
